Yam Concepcion has revealed to fans that she has been engaged to her longtime boyfriend since Dec. 31, 2018, at 11:59 p.m.—undoubtedly one of the most romantic ways to welcome the New Year.

Concepcion broke the news by sharing heartwarming photos of scenes from the engagement, which occurred in the town of Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan.

One of the three photos shows Miguel Cuunjieng on one knee on the snow as he proposes to a smiling Conception while they are surrounded by colorful orizuru (paper cranes).

Concepcion and her non-showbiz fiancé have been a couple for over six years now. Cuunjieng is based in New York, where the actress is currently staying.

Before going to New York, however, Concepcion had been in a long-distance relationship with Cuunjieng. Despite the thousands of miles between them, they managed to retain a strong relationship.  /ra
