Rabiya Mateo continues to slay in behind-the-scenes videos for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, despite accidentally falling into a pool during a photo shoot earlier today.
Mateo donned a blue sequined fringe dress as she posed for a Miss Universe video shoot, as seen on her Instagram page today, May 10. She also took selfies of herself wearing the ensemble.
“Some BTS (behind-the-scenes) photos and videos for today. What do you think about my look?” she asked her fans.

Aside from the video shoot, Mateo also wore a pink jumpsuit and a pink bucket hat for a poolside photo shoot with other Miss Universe candidates, as seen on Miss Universe’s Instagram page today, May 10.
She can also be seen dancing with the other beauty queens in another video shown by the organization.

Mateo later revealed that she accidentally fell into a pool, which got half of her outfit wet, as shown in a video by beauty camp Aces and Queens today.
“A lot of things happened. First of all, I accidentally fell into a pool. So I got half of my [outfit] wet and then I almost lost my diamonds,” Mateo said. She chose to laugh off what happened and was smiling when she tried to get out of the water.

Mateo is set to compete for the Miss Universe crown on May 16. She is hoping to win for the Philippines its fifth crown, following Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray. JB
