Chai Fonacier lauded the talent and kindness of French actress Eva Green, whom she got to work with in the upcoming psychological thriller “Nocebo.”

The award-winning Cebuana actress shared her appreciation for Green via a lengthy message she posted on Instagram on May 5.

“Took a long time for this post Because most of the time I have words for my experiences, and I always want to have nicely structured captions for everything, and [I] kept thinking about it but then I gave up because how can one make a post that encompasses her? I can’t. One can’t,” Fonacier stressed.

“There are many things I could say about her — all of them good — but then it would shatter part of the wonderful sense of mystery she holds over all of us,” she added. “So I’ll leave it that, while being utterly, utterly truthful about it: she is among the best, kindest, most talented people I have ever worked with.”

Fonacier’s post aptly came with a black-and-white photo of her and Green, which was also used by the French actress last month when she likewise praised Fonacier for her acting chops.

“Thank you, @evagreenweb, for gracing us with your presence, your intensity, passion, your art, and the beauty of your being,” Fonacier said.

“Grateful to be a witness to this awesomeness. Won’t ever forget you, and [I] hope to see you again. Love you!” she added.

Also through Instagram on April 1, Green posted about Fonacier whom she described as “truly a great actress with extraordinary depth and sensitivity and she was an incredible partner – she blew me away!”

Aside from Green, a Golden Globe nominee, Fonacier also stars alongside Olivier Award-winning actor Mark Strong in “Nocebo.” The film is a co-production between Ireland and the Philippines and is directed by Irish director Lorcan Finnegan.

Fonacier is known for starring in local, critically acclaimed films such as “Respeto,” “Born Beautiful” and “Pinay Beauty.” She has also claimed Best Actress awards for her roles in “Patay na si Hesus” and “Miss Bulalacao.”

Green is, meanwhile, known for starring in “Casino Royale,” “Penny Dreadful,” “Proxima” and “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” among many others.  /ra
