Valdez revealed last week that both she and her husband tested positive for and have since recovered from COVID-19. She also spoke about the agony of isolation which she experienced while she was battling the disease. She added that surviving COVID-19 gave her a “healthier perspective” on things and made her family grow stronger.

The actress’ “Bagong Umaga” co-stars Sunshine Cruz and Heaven Peralejo also tested positive for COVID-19. Both of them have since recovered from the disease. JB
