Sunshine Cruz recovers from COVID-19 after 22-day quarantine
After 22 days of quarantine, actress Sunshine Cruz has finally recovered from COVID-19, sharing that she tested negative yesterday, April 16.
“Tested NEGATIVE [prayer hands emoji] but feeling positive,” the 43-year-old actress said in her Instagram post, where she is seen smiling while holding what appears to be a sunflower.
Cruz’s announcement of her recovery came just two days after she publicly confirmed that she had been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Cruz started self-isolating inside her room in late March after experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Her most recent negative result came from a swab test she underwent on April 15.
Article continues after this advertisement“To everyone, [COVID-19] is real! In my 43 years of existence, I’ve had fever, the flu, and coughs but [COVID-19] symptoms can’t be compared to what I’ve experienced before,” she noted back then.
