Alice Dixson has received the first shot of her Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and plans to get her second jab of it in the Philippines.

“I got my 1st [shot] yesterday, yay!” Dixson said as she showed her right arm with a bandage in an Instagram post today, April 8. She also appeared to have received the dose overseas as she stated that she would prefer to have her second jab administered in the Philippines.

Dixson appears to be staying in Canada. She recently welcomed her first child, whose arrival she announced last week. Although she has not released more information about her newborn, the actress previously said that she and her long-time partner were trying to have a child through surrogacy.

“My 2nd shot is [in] 3-4 weeks pero balak ko sana sa Pilipinas na lang pag-uwi namin,” she added. (My second shot is due in three to four weeks but I wish to have it in the Philippines when I get home.)

Dixson also asked if the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is already available in the Philippines since she only heard some news about shots from AstraZeneca and Sinovac.

“[By the way] I heard in Manila you can get your vaccines na kahit (despite the) lockdown – true? If yes gogogo!” she said, encouraging others to also get vaccinated. JB
