Alice Dixson welcomes first child at 51: ‘I’ve been praying for this every year’

At 51 years old, Alice Dixson has finally been blessed with her first-ever baby, which she has described as a God-given miracle.

“For those of you who really know me – you’ve known that I’ve been praying for this every year on my birthday for 10 years now,” Dixson announced via Instagram on Good Friday, April 2.

Dixson, who noted that her family’s blessing comes amid the “unexpected trials this year,” broke the news by sharing a photo of her holding a pair of footprints from her newborn.

“Each year – my wish the same when I blew out my candles. So with great patience, belief and trust – I am happy to announce my wish has finally come true,” Dixson said.

“Our newest little family member has arrived,” the former beauty queen added. From my family to yours [emoji] Advanced Happy Easter.”

Fellow celebrities have since congratulated Dixson on being a first-time mom, including Ogie Alcasid, Chesca Kramer, Ruffa Gutierrez, Vina Morales and Iza Calzado, among many others.

While she has yet to release more details on her newborn, Dixson shared in a 2019 interview with ANC’s “Headstart” that she and her partner were trying to have a child through surrogacy.

Dixson recently went under lock-in taping for GMA’s upcoming teleserye “Legal Wives” along with Andrea Torres, Bianca Umali and Dennis Trillo.  /ra
