“It is with deep gratitude and pride that we welcome into the Pawssion Project family, Ms. Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan, our official pawtner in making a stand and speaking up for the animals,” Pawssion Project announced via Facebook on March 29.

“It is hard to find people who are both great and good, and Ms. Sharon is definitely one of them. For years she has entertained us with her stellar films, TV shows, and wonderful singing voice, a voice that she will now lend to those who have none,” the group added.

“We consider it a tremendous win to have Ms. Sharon fighting for this cause. With her influence and reach, we know that she will inspire all the people who admire and believe in her to follow suit and become advocates for animals who are abused, abandoned, and neglected, to have that chance at a better life,” Pawssion Project stressed.

Cuneta recently got in touch with Pawssion Project after adopting a stray dog she named Pawi, which she found while shooting a movie in Olongapo. JB
