Almost two weeks after her birthday, Heart Evangelista held a late celebration by lending a hand to the children of an orphanage in Sorsogon.
The actress-model spent her day giving food and gifts to the children of Jardin de Maria Orphanage, as seen in a series of photos on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 24.
“Meaningful moments that matter the most. Spent a day with the lovely kids and sisters of the Jardin de Maria Orphanage here in Sorsogon for a late birthday celebration,” Evangelista said.
Evangelista appears to have given away footwear and a large cake to the children, as seen in the photos. She can also be seen helping the kids open their gifts and wear them properly.
When she turned 36 years old on Valentine’s Day, Evangelista also marked her birthday with yet another billboard on New York’s Time Square. She modeled for the sustainable fashion brand Ia’s Threads.
Evangelista lives in Sorsogon with her husband Chiz Escudero, the province’s governor. They have been married since in February 2015. JB
