The show must go on: Regine Velasquez’s virtual concert “Freedom” is set to push through on Feb. 28.
The concert, meant to stream yesterday, Feb. 14, was rescheduled after Velasquez was exposed to a person positive for Covid-19. Thankfully, she has tested negative for the virus, as per a statement from ABS-CBN Events and IME.
Asia’s Songbird shared the full statement on her Instagram account yesterday. The Feb. 28 concert will start at 8 p.m. Manila time.
“[We] are streaming worldwide [hanggang] (up to) Mars,” she quipped in another post where she greeted fans a happy Valentine’s Day and thanked them for their understanding.
Those who already purchased tickets can still use them for the new date. Tickets are still being sold for P1,200 at ktx.ph, TFC IPTV and iWantTFC. JB
