Regine Velasquez negative for Covid-19, announces new concert date
The show must go on: Regine Velasquez’s virtual concert “Freedom” is set to push through on Feb. 28.
The concert, meant to stream yesterday, Feb. 14, was rescheduled after Velasquez was exposed to a person positive for Covid-19. Thankfully, she has tested negative for the virus, as per a statement from ABS-CBN Events and IME.
Asia’s Songbird shared the full statement on her Instagram account yesterday. The Feb. 28 concert will start at 8 p.m. Manila time.

“[We] are streaming worldwide [hanggang] (up to) Mars,” she quipped in another post where she greeted fans a happy Valentine’s Day and thanked them for their understanding.
