Although indirectly, Ian Veneracion has broken his silence to slam rumors linking him to “Oh My Dad” co-actor Sue Ramirez.
“I don’t want to normalize people exploiting our personal lives for their entertainment,” Veneracion said on Instagram yesterday, Jan. 27.
“I don’t need to defend myself from the lies of perverts,” he added.
“Once upon a time I was pissed,” Veneracion also said while using the hashtag “#happilymarried” to stress his point.
Netizens speculated that Veneracion was the handsome actor being referred to as separated from his wife and has an affair with a starlet in a blind item that appeared in the Philippine Entertainment Portal on Jan. 24.
The said news outlet has since clarified that the item did not refer to Veneracion and Ramirez.
Ramirez’s boyfriend, Javi Benitez, has also defended the actress from the rumors and emphasized that she is not that kind of woman and that Ramirez is not a “starlet.” /ra
