K-pop stans from all over the world have hijacked the hashtag “#ImpeachBidenNow” to silence supporters of former US President Donald Trump.

Following Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s filing of articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden just a day after his inauguration, Trump supporters have taken to social media to support the move.

As Trump supporters rallied online, however, K-pop fans took over the “#ImpeachBidenNow” hashtag currently trending on Twitter to flood it out with K-pop-related tweets.

“#ImpeachBidenNow Trumpies Getting Excited To See This Stupid Hashtag Trending Only To Discover Its Been Taken Over And Destroyed Yet Again By Us #Kpop Stans! We Know How To Use Our Power! For The Greater Good!” Twitter user @Dianas_Galaxy tweeted earlier today, Jan. 23.

“#ImpeachBidenNow I might not have many followers but this is needed. Take a homemade seventeen meme,” Twitter user @Nasia_Nk, meanwhile, posted.

“Jumping on the trend but make it Jaehyun So proud of Kpop stans #ImpeachBidenNow,” Twitter user @lolly_lunar posted as she shared a picture of NCT’s Jaehyun.

“I may only have 8 followers, but I see you KPop fam. Let’s take over & ruin #ImpeachBidenNow [purple heart emoji] Suck it MAGA,” Twitter user @HungryBunnie23 also posted, sharing photos of the acclaimed South Korean group  BTS.

“I was so confused why #ImpeachBidenNow was trending then I press the hashtag and see all these [K-pop] stans hijacking the hashtag [emoji] Istg (I swear to God) [K-pop] stans are something else,” @Taehyung_Mochi shared.

“#ImpeachBidenNow f*ck that Stan BTS instead,” Twitter user @casperthon tweeted, sharing also a photo of BTS.

Even non-K-pop fans have been commending the stans for their efforts. For one, Twitter user @murdock_a03 tweeted: “Not a fan of K-Pop if I’m being honest, but I think we owe the stans and their remarkable ability to spam edits on this one. [heart emoji] #ImpeachBidenNow.”

As of this writing, over 195,000 tweets under “#ImpeachBidenNow” have been made, while it remains the top trending hashtag in the Philippines.  /ra
