WATCH: Alicia Keys uses piano to create colorful, abstract painting
Along with creating award-winning songs with a piano, Alicia Keys has come up with a new way to use the instrument to paint abstract art.
The Grammy Award-winning artist shared the unique painting method on her Instagram page on Jan. 4.
“Yo, I think I just did something crazy,” Keys tells her fans in a video before sitting in front of a pink grand piano.
She then played a simple tune. As she pressed a few keys, each one caused different colors of paint to shoot out from inside the piano and onto a blank canvas placed nearby.

“This year there’s no limit to us!!” she added. “Let’s create the unimaginable!!”
Keys began taking up classical piano training when she was just seven years old. Throughout the years, she has become a world-renowned artist for her talent as both singer and musician.
Some of her biggest hits include “No One,” “If I Ain’t Got You” and her debut single “Fallin’.” She also released her seventh studio album, “Alicia,” last September. /ra
