(We are running this guide to help you plan your holiday movie-watching activity during the pandemic. The 46th Metro Manila Film Festival Christmas Edition runs from Dec. 25 to Jan. 7, 2021. Tickets are available online via Upstream.ph/mmff/.)
Directed by Al Tantay; stars Andrew E., Janno Gibbs, Dennis Padilla, Jerald Napoles, Angelu de Leon, Leo Martinez, Ana Roces, Maui Taylor, Marissa Sanchez, Nathalie Hart; produced by Viva Films
This comedy flick revolves around four womanizer friends: photographer Justine (Janno), standup comic Bruno (Dennis), dentist John (Andrew E.) and tattoo artist Drake (Jerald). Karma and their insatiable desire for women eventually put them into trouble. And with the men’s lives in danger, it’s their loyal wives whom they have been cheating on who still end up bailing them out.
“Our chemistry is proven because you can’t fake the fact we have been together for such a long time already,” said Janno, who has been close friends with Dennis and Andrew E. for many years.
“I have been working with them since the early days of my show biz career. And this time you add in Jerald, who’s also a riot. Now you multiply the kulitan, not just by three, but by four,” Andrew E. said.

It doesn’t matter if there are other comedy films in the festival. That’s better—mas masaya. The people can watch all the entries if they like,” Al said. “We just hope to entertain people amid the pandemic.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
