Xian Lim acquires home elevator to keep grandparents safe

Xian Lim had an elevator installed at home for the benefit of his grandparents.
The actor said he was able to spend more time with his mother and grandparents during the lockdown, and shared his excitement to his followers when he finally acquired an elevator, as per his post on Instagram on Dec. 16.
“I got to spend time with @mommymaryanne, my lola and lolo and realized how much family time is of huge importance…,” Lim said. “Sometimes we get too caught up in so much work and we forget what truly matters most.”
In the video clip Lim shared, his grandmother can be seen testing out the elevator happily, waving and smiling at the camera as the lift slowly carries her down.

He said his grandmother chose a room downstairs because of her huge cross-stitch collection. This, despite having her own room in the upper floor of the house.
“She wants it all by her side,” he said. “She goes up and down the stairs and ayaw magpapigil (can’t be held back) even if I had set up her own room upstairs.”
He finally decided after a couple of months to get an elevator, adding he was “so amazed” with the final product. He also promised his followers he would post a vlog soon to share more details about the process of having the lift installed. As per his post, the elevator was from Acceso Home Lifts.
“This is truly a happy moment for me,” he shared. “I now have peace of mind knowing that the seniors in my home [are] safer with this lift.” /ra
