Siblings Michele, Marco and Margarita Gumabao extended help to the people of Nueva Ecija recently by conducting relief operations amid the pandemic-induced lockdown.
The siblings gave away relief packs and school supplies in the municipality of Guimba over the weekend, as seen on their social media posts.
“Stay at home [muna] ang [mga] bata so [mga] magulang ang tumanggap kahapon ng [mga] school supplies at ibang [mga] donasyon [mula] Donate Phils and our Rektang [Bayanihan] Program,” Michele said on Instagram yesterday, Nov. 9.
(The kids are now staying at home so the parents are the ones who received the school supplies and other kinds of donations from Donate Phils and our Rektang Bayanihan Program.)
In the following post, Michele stated that the relief operations were made possible through her Your 200 Pesos Rektang Bayanihan project and the help of other organizations.
“I’m so happy to see my siblings @gitagumabao and @gumabaomarco joining as well! This is only the beginning :) Leading the fight for our youth!” she said.
Michele’s posts were accompanied by several snippets of the relief operation, showing Gumabao and team donning face masks as they hand donations to residents of Guimba.
Marco likewise shared photos from the operations via Facebook last Saturday, Nov. 7.
“Salamat sa lahat ng taga Guimba, Nueva Ecija na pumunta kanina para sa relief ops natin,” the actor said. JB
