Pia Wurtzbach has broken her silence amid her mom and sister’s ongoing feud.

Pia’s sister Sarah Wurtzbach has been making accusations that their mother, Cheryl Alonzo-Tyndall, is a “narcissist” and blamed her for getting raped as a child.

“[I’m] sure a lot of you know that my family is going through some issues at the moment and most of it is posted online. This is a very hurtful time for our family,” the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder said on Instagram yesterday, Nov. 2, posting a photo of her and her family in happier times.

“My sister, especially, had a very traumatic experience and I humbly ask everyone to be kind to her,” Pia appealed. “We are trying to resolve our family issues privately and I ask for your support by not trying to put the blame on anyone and stop [victim-shaming].”

“Please be mindful [of] your posts and comments to Sarah, mabigat ang pinagdadaanan niya ngayon (she is going through a lot right now),” she said.

“Bilang anak at kapatid, napakasakit sa akin na makitang nagkakaganito ang mga taong mahal ko,” she added. “Hiling ko na lang po sa inyo na isama [n’yo] kami sa inyong mga dasal at sana mahanap na rin ng aming pamilya ang nararapat na healing.”

(As a daughter and a sister, it is painful to see the people I love in this state. My only request is that you include us in your prayers and hope that our family finds the healing we deserve.)

“I love you and thank you,” Sarah said in the comments section of her post.

Sarah first made an explosive rant against her mom and sister Pia in October, stating on Instagram Stories that she was “abused” and claimed that Pia was not supportive of her. Pia headed to the United Kingdom and days later, the two patched things up.

She continues to lambast their mother on Instagram Stories, claiming over the past week, “She solicited me when I was younger in exchange for money, then I got [gang-raped] and then raped again for the second time, and she told me, I deserved it.” She also said that she only remembered what happened this year while she underwent therapy.

Alonzo-Tyndall and her husband Nigel Tyndall have since responded to the accusations through a YouTube vlog on Saturday, Oct. 31. She claimed that while in the Philippines, she was always looking out for her two daughters as a single parent and that Sarah fell in bad company. She said Sarah only spoke up about getting abused in the Philippines when they were already living in the United Kingdom. JB
