WATCH: Pia Wurtzbach visits parents with BF Jeremy Jauncey
During Pia Wurtzbach’s stay in the United Kingdom with boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey, one stop they made was to meet the beauty queen’s mom and stepdad, Cheryl Alonzo and Nigel Tyndall.
The couple was welcomed to a feast once they stepped into her parents’ home, as seen in her mother Cheryl Alonzo-Tyndall’s vlog on YouTube Monday, Sept. 14.
Cheryl prepared healthy food for their meal, as per Wurtzbach’s request. This included a vegetable frittata, grilled apple chicken sausage, arugula salad and banana oat blueberry muffins. Of course, there was also steaming white rice, chicken adobo and bola-bola with misua.
“It’s all healthy ‘cause I told her we want to be healthy. And I’m dairy-free now,” the Miss Universe 2015 winner explained.
Cheryl also went out of her way to prepare a handwritten menu for Jauncey—a gesture Wurtzbach said had never been done for her. For his part, the Scottish entrepreneur told Cheryl that he was fond of the frittata.
The second part of the vlog posted today, Sept. 16, showed the couple going through pictures from Wurtzbach’s childhood.
Her parents joked that after seeing the old photos, Jauncey might change his mind about marrying Wurtzbach.
Her boyfriend shared his appreciation for printed family photos, saying that his own mom also collected photos for him and his brother.
Their day together ended with a walk around the neighborhood to see nearby sights such as a park and a church, with Wurtzbach and Jauncey walking with their arms wrapped around each other.
The couple confirmed their relationship in June. Wurtzbach traveled to the UK in July to reunite with Jauncey and her family. /ra
