#NoticeCatanduanes has been shared on Twitter as Filipinos seek media coverage of the island that has been hit hard by Typhoon Rolly on Sunday, Nov. 1. The super typhoon (international name: Goni) made its first landfall in Bato town yesterday morning.
Communication lines in the province have been damaged, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) today, Nov. 2. Teams have already been deployed to restore the communication lines. The NDRRMC noted in its initial assessment that “four out of 10 houses” in Catanduanes have been “heavily damaged.” JB
