AC Bonifacio is trending once again for her latest K-pop dance cover, where she wowed not only with her dance moves but also in capturing the vibe of girl group Blackpink.
The 17-year-old dancer and singer dropped her music video on Friday, Oct. 16, for “Lovesick Girls,” Blackpink’s single released last Oct. 2.
The Fil-Canadian artist performed all four group members’ parts in Vancouver, changing outfits to represent each member and dancing in locations that replicate the gritty theme of the original “Lovesick Girls” music video.
Her video has been viewed over 478,000 times and is in the top 10 on YouTube Philippines’ trending list. Dancer and vlogger Niana Guerrero was impressed, commenting on the video: “WTH ANDREE THIS IS SO GOOD.” Fans also left comments stating that she could be a K-pop star.
Bonifacio previously got Blackpink’s attention for her “How You Like That” music video, bagging second place in their dance cover contest.
She was recognized too by Selena Gomez when she danced to “Ice Cream,” Gomez’s collaboration with the same group. JB
