AC Bonifacio wins 2nd prize in Blackpink’s ’How You Like That’ dance cover contest

MANILA, Philippines — Dancer AC Bonifacio on Tuesday was ecstatic upon learning she and her team bagged the second prize in Blackpink’s “How You Like That” dance cover contest.

In an Instagram post on the girl group’s official account, they announced the five winning teams who were recognized to have the best dance cover of their song.

“We would like to congratulate all five teams, and once again thank everyone who participated!” Blackpink’s post read.

Bonifacio, in an Instagram Story entry, meanwhile could not hide her happiness.

“Hello, we just figured out that we won!” Bonifacio said in her story entry.

“Di po namin alam (We don’t know) what to do. I love you all thank you so much [Blackpink]” Bonifacio wrote.

As part of the stipulation of Blackpink’s contest, Bonifacio is slated to receive 6 million Korean won (or around P245,900).

The K-pop group bagged five Guinness World Record for the music video for “How You Like That,” which includes being the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours.
