MANILA, Philippines — Federico Moreno, the son of the late “Master Showman” German Moreno or “Kuya Germs,” is keeping his father’s legacy alive by booking new talents online thanks to a new app called “The Supershow App.”

Federico said that the app aims to be a “convenient, reliable, seamless, and easy to find and discover talents” online.

According to Federico, the idea came to him in a “light bulb moment” sometime in 2019 after he had a hard time looking for a wedding singer.

Federico also approached his own mentor, Jose “Jomag” Magsaysay Jr., and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to collaborate on “The Supershow App.”

Before entering politics, Isko was known to be an actor discovered by Kuya Germs.

“This app is one way of continuing my father’s legacy in helping the industry by helping talents get bookings and discovering new ones,” Federico said.

Federico added that he and his partners made it a priority to help displaced talents who are having difficulties getting booked during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Interested talents who want to be part of the team may now submit their 30-second to one-minute video material by visiting www.supershow.app.

Meanwhile, booking of talents for events will start on Nov. 25,  Federico said.
