Lovi Poe has finally reunited with her boyfriend, Monty Blencowe, in the United States after months apart due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The actress marked their reunion by posting a photo of them on her Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 13. The picture showed Blencowe wrapping one arm around Poe’s shoulders as they looked at each other.
“Bubba [heart emoji],” Poe simply said, referring to her term of endearment for her partner. Blencowe is a British film producer and medical researcher based in Los Angeles, California.
Poe flew to the US last month, as per GMA News yesterday.
Though the two spend a lot of their time in separate countries, Poe said that communication, trust and respect are some of the things that make their long-distance relationship work.
“Communication is important to all relationships,” she stated in a recent video conference for her latest TV series “I Can See You: High-Rise Lovers.”
“Trust should be there because you’re far away from each other,” Poe added. “But still, you have to respect each other’s space and time.”
Prior to leaving the Philippines to meet with Blencowe, the actress wrapped up filming the said program. She stars in the show alongside fellow Kapuso artists Winwyn Marquez and Tom Rodriguez. /ra
