Judy Ann Santos mourns Fr. Sonny Ramirez’s death: ‘My faith grew stronger because of you’
Judy Ann Santos paid tribute to the late Catholic priest Fr. Sonny Ramirez, who passed away on Oct. 10 at the age of 74.
“I will miss you [F]ather [S]onny…,” she said on her Instagram page on Oct. 12, alongside photos where the priest appears to be blessing her family.
“[W]ords [can’t] express how [I] feel, but knowing that you are now with our Father and you will no longer feel any pain makes my heart smile,” the actress added.
Santos also noted how Ramirez was the reason why her devotion to Our Lady of Manaoag grew stronger.

Article continues after this advertisement“[M]y faith during my darkest years grew stronger because of you,” she said. “[I] will forever cherish our long talks in [Our Lady of Manaoag] church in [P]angasinan.”
Article continues after this advertisementThe actress then looked back on how Ramirez let her stay alone in the church to admire the statue and wipe her tears with its veil.
“[I] will miss you.. your homily, your smile, your laughter,” she expressed. “[I] will miss hugging you very tight every [C]hristmas day.”
Though she mourns Ramirez’s passing, Santos believes that her family has just gained another guardian angel in the late priest.
“[I] love you father [S]onny.. please guide us and protect us during this uncertain times,” she added while wishing that he rest in peace. /ra
