Vlogger Supercar Blondie surprises Filipino employee with money for son’s college tuition

A Filipino employee was surprised with money to cover her son’s college tuition as a gift from her boss, an Australian vlogger.

The Filipina, only identified as Avelina, is 50 years old and has been working for Supercar Blondie for two and a half years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Supercar Blondie, whose real name is Alex Hirschi, revealed to her millions of followers in a video on Facebook yesterday, Sept. 30, how she and her team surprised Avelina with the much-needed cash.

Hirschi, known for her car entertainment content, put the money in a box and explained that Avelina moved to Dubai to save for her son’s college tuition.

“She means so much to me. I couldn’t do what I do today without her,” she said, sharing that Avelina did all-around work, whether it is admin work, cleaning the office, making food or taking care of their dogs.

Avelina was filming for the fake documentary when Hirschi entered the room and surprised her with a bouquet of flowers and the box of cash.

Even before she knew she was going to receive money, Avelina was visibly touched by Hirschi’s gesture.

But of course, she was thrilled to have the funds. Shocked as she opened the box, she asked into the camera, “I’m a millionaire, sir?”

Hirschi told her she could use the money either for her son’s tuition or to build a house back home.

“I’m going home?” joked Avelina.

“No, I don’t want you to leave. If you leave me I’m taking this back,” quipped Hirschi.

The rest of Hirschi’s team only had praises for Avelina, with one lauding her for her hard work and positivity.

“She is the heart and soul of this office,” said another team member. “She would probably spend more time on camera, but Alex gets very jealous.”  /ra
