Paolo Contis gives up NBA Finals for Summer’s ‘Frozen’

MANILA, Philippines — As the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat faced off in Game One of the NBA Finals on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila), actor Paolo Contis was one of the many basketball fans who wanted to watch the game live on TV.

The Kapuso actor, however, appeared that he wasn’t able to watch the  game, all because his daughter Summer was enjoying her screen time thanks to the beloved Disney film “Frozen.”

Paolo’s  Instagram post showed little Summer appearing so pleased watching the movie beside her dad.

“Game 1 ng NBA Finals..!!  pero FROZEN ang pinapanood koooo!! (It’s game one of the NBA Finals, but I’m watching Frozen)” Paolo, who is known to be a funny man, said in his post.

Fellow actor  Leandro Muñoz found humor in Paolo’s post.

“Kaya pala mukhang excited ka (So that’s why you look excited),” Leandro commented.

Paolo, in response to Leandro’s comment, said: “sobra! (“very much”),  along with a laughing emoji.

The Lakers seized a 1-0 lead in the title series after outlasting the Heat, 116-98.
