Dennis Trillo marked his son Calix’s 13th birthday with an intimate basketball-themed celebration at home yesterday, Sept. 22.

The actor took to Instagram on the same day to give fans a peek into their small party as his son with former girlfriend Carlene Aguilar finally entered his teenage years.

Celebrating with the father-son duo were their loved ones including Trillo’s girlfriend, Jennylyn Mercado, and her son Alex Jazz, as seen in the short video.

Among the highlights of the clip are Calix’s blowing of 13 candles on top of an orange cake with “Calix 13” written on it, sticking true to the theme, and the taking of a family picture of Calix, Trillo, Mercado and Alex Jazz.

Actor and basketball player JC Tiuseco, meanwhile, sent his greetings to the birthday boy through a comment on the post, saying, “Happy birthday Calix!”

Actor-singer Gian Magdangal likewise left a simple “Happy birthday Calix!!” as seen in the post’s comments section.  /ra
