Angel Locsin on Neil Arce breakup rumors: ‘Can’t believe some people would stoop this low’

Angel Locsin has quashed rumors that she and fiance Neil Arce have called it quits.
The “Darna” star posted a screenshot on Instagram Stories of YouTube videos declaring that she and Arce had broken up, as seen in her official media page on Instagram, @teamangelph, on Friday, Sept. 11.
“Oh wow. Can’t believe some people would stoop this low,” she wrote. “Why do some people make this much effort to put me in a bad light? That is the question.”

The couple currently works together on the public service program “Iba ‘Yan”, which Locsin hosts and Arce directs. The series features inspiring stories of Filipinos helping others in need.
Locsin confirmed their relationship in February 2018 to the Philippine Entertainment Portal, as per Radyo Inquirer. They announced their engagement in June 2019.
The two said in an interview on “Rated K” last June that they planned to tie the knot this year, Inquirer Bandera reported. However, their wedding would depend on mass gatherings being allowed.
Arce said, “I think we’ll decide somewhere near our date if [we’re] gonna move it or not.”
Locsin has since told Inquirer Bandera in a Sept. 5 report that their big day will be postponed to 2021. JB
