On the day of the proposal, Wrightson had no plans yet to pop the question, but he did clean their balcony up and on that night, they had a romantic date with candles, music and drinks.
He saw KaladKaren on a tablet looking at an engagement ring and she told him she wanted him to propose with that ring.
He realized the ring he had looked similar and finally took the chance—even if they were in simple house wear.
“So I looked at the pictures and I was like, ‘This has to be a sign,’” he said.
Wrightson set up his phone to take a video of the proposal. He asked KaladKaren what she was looking at and when she showed him a picture of a ring, he went down on one knee, presented the ring and asked, “Does it look like this one?”
KaladKaren was visibly shocked, telling him, “What is that?”
Eventually she managed to say yes and shock turned into pure joy.
As they narrated the story on the vlog, KaladKaren told Wrightson, “I don’t think I could meet another person in my life just like you. I’m so happy.” /ra
