Sharon Cuneta shares last exchange with ‘anak’ Lloyd Cadena
Sharon Cuneta and her daughter Frankie Pangilinan paid their respects to late YouTube star Lloyd Cadena through touching tributes on social media.
“Lloyd was one of my ‘anak-anakans (kids),’” the Megastar wrote on Instagram Friday, Sept. 4, after learning the news that the 26-year-old vlogger had passed away.
She said she had been waiting for Cadena to tell her what he wanted in his new house.
“[‘Di] ka na tuloy nabigyan ng gift nitong ‘Inay’ mo,” she lamented.

“Salamat sa sayang dinulot ng vlogs mo sa akin na lagi kong sinasabi [sa ‘yo], lalo nung low na low si Inay at sobrang hurt at sad ako.”
(Thank you for the joy that your vlogs brought me which I always told you, especially when I was low and so hurt and sad.)
Cuneta also posted today, Sept. 6, the last exchange she and Cadena had. The vlogger referred to her as “Nanay Mega” and assured her that many were supporting her and loved her. The actress, meanwhile, called him “anak.”
“I miss you Lloyd anak,” she said in the caption.

For her tribute to Cadena, Pangilinan admitted that they had never met but that he had been a “great friend” to her mom over the past months.
“[I] know how much joy and light he brought into this world,” she said.
She was all praises for the vlogs he created: “[H]is content was always very deeply touching and [I] think that’s indicative of his audience and how he taught us about the things we need to change with kindness and love and plenty of nontoxic positivity. [H]is legacy remains intact.”
