‘Why did this happen?’ Celebs, socmed icons mourn Lloyd Cadena’s death

MANILA, Philippines — Social media personalities, as well as celebrities, expressed both shock and sadness over the death of YouTube star Lloyd Cadena, who passed away at the age of 26.
Cadena’s death was announced on his official Facebook page on Friday.
Social media star Mark Averilla, also known as Macoy Dubs, did not hold back his tears upon learning Cadena’s untimely passing.
In a video posted on Twitter, Averilla said that he got the news from his college friends at Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
According to Averilla, he and Cadena were schoolmates in Letran.
“I’m so sorry… let’s pray for Lloyd,” Averilla said in the video.

Cadena’s fellow YouTube vlogger, Pau Sepagan or Roger Raker, shared a photo of him, Cadena and late YouTube vlogger Emman Nimedez.
“Kayo ang kasama ko noong nagsisimula pa lang ako.. Bakit naman ganito mga nangyayari!? Di ko matanggap.. Rest in peace mga kaibigan ko.,” Sepagan said.

Vlogger Mimiyuuuh also paid tribute to Cadena, who he called “Kween LC.”

Although she has never met Cadena, “Cheats” singer Saab Magalona said that she has only ever heard “kind things” about the YouTube star.

Television host Bianca Gonzalez, who also has a channel on the video-sharing site, remembered Cadena as “always so gracious and his joy would radiate.”
