Veteran radio broadcasters Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja will be back on the air once again before the month ends as they relaunch “Dos Por Dos.”
The duo, who has hosted “Dos Por Dos” on DZMM for over 17 years, will be taking the program to DZRH starting Aug. 31, Taberna announced on Instagram yesterday, Aug. 24.
“Pakitandaan ang petsa, Agosto 31, 5 [to] 6:30 [p.m.] — DosPorDos sa bagong nitong tahanan, DZRH, Kauna-unahan sa Pilipinas!” he told fans.
(Remember the date, Aug. 31, 5 to 6:30 p.m. — “Dos Por Dos on its new home, DZRH, the first in the Philippines!)
Taberna’s announcement came with a poster of the said show, mostly retaining its iconic title.
The program will run from Monday to Friday every week on different media: 666 khz on radio, channel 18 on Cignal and channel 129 on Sky Cable. It can also be viewed online.
Taberna and Baja announced on Aug. 20 that they officially transferred to the Manila Broadcasting Corporation’s radio station, just a few weeks after their DZMM program ended following the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise bid.
The two bade their listeners farewell on their last DZMM “Dos Por Dos” episode on July 31. JB
