Is Korina Sanchez moving to another network?
After “Rated K” went off air, could Korina Sanchez be finding her way back to television?
The broadcast journalist appears to be dropping hints on the next step in her career through Instagram comments.
When she announced via Instagram on Friday, Aug. 14, that her current affairs program “Rated K” will stay online, one Instagram user, @kathnielford2020, asked if it was true that she had negotiations with TV5.
“Isa po ako sa malulungkot, kung totoo yan. Isa po kasi kayo sa mukha ng ABS-CBN,” the fan said.
(I am one of those who will be sad if it’s true. You are one of the faces of ABS-CBN.”

Sanchez also responded to another social media user, one @phoexzz, who asked if it was true that she was leaving ABS-CBN.
“Nawala na ang prangkisa eh (The franchise is gone)…,” reasoned Sanchez.
Congress denied ABS-CBN’s franchise bid last July after over a dozen hearings on its renewal. The media giant was ordered shut down in May by the National Telecommunications Commission despite pending bills in Congress on its franchise.
Sanchez was among the first to be laid off in the “bloodbath” that ensued after Congress’ rejection of the franchise. /ra
