YouTube vlogger Emman Nimedez dies after battle with leukemia

Video creator Emman Nimedez passed away earlier today, Aug. 16, after he lost his battle with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer.

He died at the St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City, in the company of his family, his girlfriend Peachy Santos said via his Facebook page today.

“Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support,” she expressed.

“Funeral details will be announced in the next days,” Santos added. “We hope everyone will respect the family’s privacy to mourn the passing of Emman.”

Prior to his death, Nimedez was rushed to the ICU on Aug. 13 and was in critical condition due to kidney failure and blood complications. Santos noted that Nimedez was unable to talk at the time.

The vlogger first revealed that he was diagnosed with leukemia last May.

Nimedez began creating videos back in 2011. Among some of his most popular videos are his parodies of popular TV shows such as the hit K-drama “Goblin”. JB
