After months under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kris Bernal has been keeping her spirits high by placing her trust in God.
Bernal disclosed that “life at home isn’t as easy as you think it is,” as per her Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 14. She highlighted her faith as one of her main sources of strength.
“Whether you are an entrepreneur, an employee, an influencer, an artist, a parent, a child or whoever you are, you are not saved from the effect of the pandemic,” she stressed.
“You might see me being busy with work, business, fitness, vlogs, etc,” Bernal stated. “[But] there are times that I stop and reflect on what is currently happening in this world.”
The actress has been coping with the situation “at my best efforts” by fighting off negative thoughts. Bernal also checked in on her supporters and asked them how they have been dealing with the pandemic.
“If you are also sometimes feeling sad, anxious, stressed out, and worried, know that we are all in this together and that you are not alone,” she assured. “I’m experiencing and feeling what you’re experiencing and feeling, too.”
Lastly, the actress explained how God could help His believers, especially during these trying times.
“God never promised us this life would be easy, but He does promise this: He is bigger than any storm we face in this world,” Bernal said. “He is with us, right in the midst of all we walk through.” /ra
