Kim Chiu on working with Christopher de Leon: ‘Professionalism at its finest!’
As Christopher de Leon leaves his “Love Thy Woman” family, Kapamilya star Kim Chiu paid tribute to the veteran actor and hopes that she gets to work with him again.
Chiu—who plays Jia Wong, daughter of De Leon’s Adam Wong in the said series—penned her heartfelt message for her “Papa Adam” via Instagram yesterday, Aug. 5.
“Thankful for the opportunity to have worked with you tito @sgt.pepper8 (De Leon) star struck at the beginning actually till the end,” the actress said.
“Things went crazy in the middle due to him [being] affected by [COVID-19]. We all got worried. Praise God you survived and passed that stage,” Chiu added.
Chiu’s post came with a still from the series of her and De Leon’s father-daughter duo in an embrace. De Leon recently exited “Love Thy Woman” after his character died in the ABS-CBN show.
“Thank you tito bo for teaching all of us that no matter how far, how high you have become as an actor, working with you made me learn so many things. Professionalism at its finest!” Chiu exclaimed.
“The same level of acting no matter you are seen on cam or off cam, Support thy co-actor, and most especially your faith in God,” she added.
Chiu also noted how lucky she was to have worked with the actor and hopes “to work with [De Leon] again in this lifetime!” /ra
