Sharon Cuneta commended local artist Jun Agustin for his talent after she discovered the latter’s “The Megastar” oil painting.

“Through my Sharonians, I found this artist on [Intagram] @junsartwork,” Cuneta shared on the social media platform yesterday, Aug. 4.

“He made this painting of me based on one of my old photos and I thought he was so talented that his painting was spot on!” she shared.

Cuneta did not hide her admiration for the oil painting, which was priced at P15,000, as she revealed that she has already bought the art from Agustin.

“I had to buy it. Not because I need another painting of myself (maryosep baka ibenta na ng mga anak ko sa dami pag namatay ako [my children just might sell them when I die because there are too many]! But maybe this one, they’ll want to keep!) — but because I think he deserves some support,” she emphasized.

“I’m looking for my favorite picture of my Mommy which I cannot find, and I pray I do soon because I would like to have Jun do a painting of it,” she added.

Cuneta also urged fans to support the artist by following his YouTube channel, saying, “Especially in these times of Covid-19 and MCQ and all — it will really help his family if you subscribe and watch him.”

“Thanks everyone! Be kind and love one another. I love you!” the actress added.

Agustin’s shop, Jun’s Artworks, is located on the second floor of Jackman Plaza—Muñoz along Edsa in Quezon City. The shop also accepts commission portraits online and can be contacted through its Facebook and Instagram pages or through junsartworks@yahoo.com.  /ra
