Singer-songwriter Juan Karlos Labajo is calling on fans to support the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital’s (UP-PGH) efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Labajo, frontman of rock band Juan Karlos, asked the public via Instagram yesterday, July 29, for financial donations to help the UP-PGH Bayanihan Na! campaign .

“To all those wishing to help our fight against COVID-19, we are currently facing challenges in pipelining our financial support to the UP-PGH Bayanihan Na! Foundation,” the young musician shared.

“This wonderful collective of doctors and volunteers are spearheading the fight against ending this terrible pandemic,” Labajo stressed.

The UP-PGH Medical Foundation provides swab testing, helps fund the blood donation program for COVID-19 survivors, and also provides personal protective equipment (PPEs) to frontliners.

The young musician noted that fans can help by listening to his band’s newly released single “BLESS Ü,” as a portion of the streaming revenue will go directly to the foundation.
