Technical problems force Vice Ganda to postpone launch of own digital network

MANILA, Philippines — Vice Ganda was forced to postpone the launch of his own digital media platform, Vice Ganda Network after the site crashed on the day it was supposed to be up.

“Having technical problems now! Kalurks!,” said the “Unkabogable Star” in a tweet on Friday.

He later tweeted his apology to his fans: “Crash is real!!! Im so sorry!!!”

“Di kineri ng website ang powers nyo! Ayun nagCrash Landing on You ang site ni betle!!!  Sorry we decided to cancel and reschedule the #ViceGandaNetworkLaunch,” the comedian added in a subsequent tweet.

The supposed digital media was supposed to be launched at 10 p.m. on Friday, with a premiere of his online show “Gabing Gabi na Vice.”

Angel Locsin and Bea Alonzo were slated to appear in the episode.

Vice decided to launch his own network following the shutdown of ABS-CBN after its franchise bid was denied by the House of Representatives’ Committee on Legislative Franchises.

The comedian also thanked his fans who anticipated the launch of his digital network and once again apologized.

“Maraming maraming salamat. I am very sorry for the invonvenience. Babawi si Meme pramis!!! I will make it up to you, promise)”
