Tanner Mata and Maria Fabiana, both of whom were in “Pinoy Big Brother,” are now engaged.
Mata, a Fil-Am model, shared a photo and video of his proposal to Fabiana via Instagram on Sunday, July 19. The engagement took place on a cruise in Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota.
“I know what cloud 9 is now,” he said.
Fabiana replied in the comment section: “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
The Brazilian model shared the happy news on Instagram Saturday, July 18, posting a photo of their kiss after the proposal.
“God’s promise to me a long time ago was that I would always feel loved, I prayed for a best friend, I prayed for someone who would always take care of me and commit to being mine for the rest of our lives,” she said.
“Today his promise came true, and it was powerful! I could feel the Holy Spirit moving in that room when I said YES! I said YES today, and I will continue to say YES for the rest of our lives. I love you!”
It appears that the love they share has lasted through the years. Fabiana posted a photo of them taken in 2017 last July 9 where she said, “Loved you then, love you still.”
The two were housemates in “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7,” which ran from July 2016 to March 2017. /ra
