Catriona Gray to take legal action vs uploader of photoshopped photo

MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will seek help from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in identifying the people behind a supposed photoshopped topless photo making the rounds in social media.

NBI Spokesman Nick Suarez confirmed to reporters that the beauty queen will arrive at the NBI Tuesday afternoon.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, the beauty queen also confirmed that her  legal team will take necessary legal actions against those behind the shared “fake” photo.

“Me and my team are taking the actions that we need to address the issue at hand,” Gray said after accepting a certificate from the Department of Trade and Industry.

Gray’s lawyer Attorney Joji Alonso previously said the topless photo purported to be that of the beauty queen and which is being shared online was meant to tarnish her name.
