Sharon Cuneta marks Jed Madela’s birthday: ‘One of the very best singers’
Sharon Cuneta had a short yet heartfelt message for Jed Madela as he turned 44 yesterday, July 14.
“Happy, happy birthday to one of the most sincere people I know and one of the very best singers in the world!” she said in her Instagram post on the same day, alongside a photo of Madela.

“Thank you for being a good friend to me,” Cuneta added. “I am blessed by your friendship. I love you, my Jeddy!”
The Megastar also included a link to one of Madela’s performances, where he sang the popular Disney song “Go the Distance” by Michael Bolton.

Madela began his singing career as a lead vocalist for the bands Pose, Dyevest and Prime Council. He eventually started performing as a solo artist after winning the 2003 Voice of Asia Song Festival in Kazakhstan.
Some of Madela’s most famous hits include “The Past,” “Didn’t We Almost Have It All” and “Forevermore.” /ra
