Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano celebrated the band’s 15th anniversary with a short video that looked back on one of their live performances.

“15 years of music, 15 years of just playing music,” the singer said on his Instagram page yesterday, July 7, alongside the clip.

15 years of music, 15 years of just playing music. 15 years of playing the same damn songs every single night and still feels as if first time mo tinutugtog. 15 years of just moving forward and not giving a fuck. 15 years of brotherhood. 15 years of respecting personal differences. 15 years of hits and misses. 15 years of learning and self exploration. 15 years of traveling to different places and meeting different souls. 15 years of early flights after late night gigs. 15 years of rock and roll. 15 years of @callalilymusic. Masaya ako na may naihahatid kaming musika sa mundo. Salamat sa mga naging parte ng biyahe. He also expressed that even though they have been performing for 15 years already, it still feels as if it is their first time to play their songs.

“To see them cry, dance, jump, shout, it’s the best thing in the world,” Cipriano said about their fans. “It’s what Callalily’s all about.”

“Masaya ako na may naihahatid kaming musika sa mundo,” he added.

(I am happy that we are able to bring music into the world.)

The singer then thanked their fans for their support before stating that “Callalily is here to stay.”

Along with Cipriano, the band is currently composed of Aaron Paul Ricafrente, Lemuel “Lem” Belaro and Nathan Reyes. Meanwhile, Andrew John “Tatsi” Jamnague, Alden Acosta and Ken Tiongson were former members of the group.

Callalily released its debut album “Destination XYZ” back in July 2006. Some of its most famous hits include “Magbalik,” “Stars” and “Susundan.” It also produced a new track titled “Reserba” last August.  /ra
