Jennica Garcia called out a person who claimed she only spoke about sex in a recent livestream for “clickbait” and to get more subscribers.
Garcia discussed relationships, sex and travel with her husband, Alwyn Uytingco, in a video last Monday, June 29. She hosted the chat on her Twitch account, as per her Instagram post on the same day.
The day after, one of her followers told Garcia that she only included “sex” in their talk to serve as “clickbait.” Garcia uploaded a screenshot of the anonymous person’s message on her page.
“100% sure the ‘sex’ part is clickbait. Not downloading [Twitch] but will stay subscribed to Instagram,” the netizen said. “Not going to see or hear anything ‘juicy/saucy’ anyway [laughing emoji].”
Garcia also revealed that she had already blocked the basher from her page.
“Una sa lahat pwede ka naman ulit gumawa ng bagong account dahil nagtatago ka kaya alam kong mababasa mo rin naman ito,” she said.
(First of all, you can make another account again since your are hiding so I know you can read this.)
After pointing out how the account was private, had no profile picture and only had two followers, Garcia added, “Malakas ang loob mo dahil hindi nakikita ang mukha mo.”
(You are daring because your face is not seen.)
She then addressed the netizen’s “clickbait” remark, explaining that sex was indeed discussed during her livestream.
“Almost 50% of the live stream was about sex and I don’t see why it shouldn’t be talked about,” Garcia stated. “SEX IS BEAUTIFUL ESPECIALLY WHEN DONE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF MARRIAGE.”
“It SHOULD be talked about more so that unwanted pregnancies that leads to abortion and SUICIDE due to a heartbreak can be lessened in the world,” she stressed.
Garcia also emphasized how sharing one’s mistakes can assure those going through similar situations that they are not alone.
“That other people go through it too and that they were able to rise above it. AND SO CAN THEY,” she added while telling the netizen to not subscribe to her channel.
“I don’t normally react to tasteless messages just like what you’ve sent,” Garcia said, “but what’s disgusting really is NOT sex itself but HOW YOU CHOOSE TO SEE IT.” /ra
