Herrera then saluted all the mothers who gave birth or who are about to give birth amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He acknowledged the fathers welcoming newborns as well.

Addressing other fathers, the actor said, “We have a very important job. I can see that now. Let us help each other.”

The actor revealed that he and Mallari were expecting a baby girl last March. At the time, Herrera said that their child was encouraging him to help more and return to singing.

Herrera is well known for playing the role of Tolits in the Philippine musical “Rak of Aegis.” He also starred in the long-running TV series “Ang Probinsyano,” but left the show in 2017. The actor currently appears in the new TV action-drama show “24/7,”which stars Julia Montes and Arjo Atayde.  /ra
