Remember Veteran Singe­r (VS) and Seasoned Songstress (SS) with a long-standing feud? The two performers look calm and collected every time their paths cross. After all, “teleserye”-channeling face-slapping, hair-pulling or insult-hurling incidents in public are beyond them.

But when there are no came­ras or nosy reporters around, they’re catty as heck.

In one splashy event, for instance, VS was asked by a common friend where SS was. With a twinkle in her eyes, VS quipped, “SS doesn’t really get invited to truly glitzy events like this. She doesn’t belong here. Ikaw talaga—don’t make me state the obvious!”
