Ruby Rodriguez discharged from hospital, gets sweet present from son

Ruby Rodriguez is finally home after being confined at a hospital due to stomach pain.
The “Eat Bulaga!” TV host had stayed at a hospital in Manila for about a week.
“Finally out of the hospital! Still need 2 weeks of meds but feeling so much better,” she said on Instagram yesterday, May 26. “All procedures [OK emoji], hope nothing comes bad with biopsy.”
She also shared the touching welcome-home gift from her teen son Don AJ: colored illustrations on paper that said “Welcome home” and “I miss you Mama.”
“Coming home to this posted on my bedroom door made me think 1000x on getting better,” she said. “Love you Aj you really know how to make me [cry and smile] at the same time!!”

Rodriguez said last May 20 that she was being treated with antibiotics via intravenous (IV) drip after she was rushed to the hospital for pain in her stomach.
Despite her condition, she shared the brighter side of her hospital stay—particularly getting a view of Manila’s sunset and skyline. /ra
