As public figures, most celebrities might try to maintain a flawless physical appearance. But while most non-essential stores, including salons and spas, are closed due to the extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila and select regions, maintaining the ideal look could be a challenge.
Actress Judy Ann Santos got real with her fans when she showed them some of her growing white hair via her Instagram post yesterday, May 4. The actress was unfazed by her graying hair and spoke about it with humor.
“Reality bites ngayong ECQ (this ECQ),” she said.
The actress showed a portion of her scalp where her white hairs are most prominent, making a funny face in the process.
“Naglabasan na mga uban ko.. yung iba kakatubo pa lang, puti na agad?” Santos added. “Sorry guys… hindi kayo dumaan sa adolescent stage.”

Despite the limitations due to staying indoors, Santos and her husband, TV host Ryan Agoncillo, were able to have a memorable wedding anniversary. Santos and Agoncillo recently celebrated their eleventh year as a married couple with their three kids, by being virtually blessed by a priest.
President Rodrigo Duterte once again extended the ECQ from April 30 to May 15, particularly in several high-risk areas in Luzon, including Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and more. The Luzon-wide ECQ period, which began mid-March, was supposed to lapse on April 13 but was first extended until April 30.
When asked late last month about whether people will soon be allowed to avail of personal services for grooming and hygiene, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said, “That is also being discussed.”
“The problem with these shops is that it’s impossible to do social distancing,” he said in an earlier report. Unless we develop very long scissors so the stylist won’t be too close to the customer.” JB
