P-pop group SB19 will be dropping a new song titled “ikako” (ikaw at ako) amid the ongoing enhanced community quarantine.
The group, which comprises Sejun, Stell, Josh, Ken and Justin, announced the upcoming tune on its Instagram page yesterday, April 7.
Addressing their fanbase, called “A’TINs,” they said: “Kamusta po kayo (How are you)? We know how you are fighting well during these tough times.”
“To give you a simple gift of hope and cheer you up, SB19 brings you a surprise song, ‘ikako’ (ikaw at ako),” the group added.
The lyrics and music of the said track were created by Sejun.
“Ang bagong tunog ng pag-asa para sa ating lahat (The new sound of hope for all of us), ” they said, referring to their upcoming song.
SB19 did not state the exact release date of the tune, but assured their fans that it is “coming very soon.”
Aside from the boy group, folk-pop band Ben&Ben is also working on a new song written amid the quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. /ra
